Find low cost and flexible home insurance with convictions!

We started this site to help people in difficult situations find affordable home insurance. Many home insurers simply focus on safe and predictable insurance risks, and can penalise people with a conviction history through higher premiums.

Here at convictedhomeinsurance.co.uk we have special relationships with all the leading insurers in this field and can negotiate you the best rates. We find you the cheapest insurance if you have a criminal record. Whatever the situation we can help:

  • Previous or current criminal convictions
  • Subsided or flooded property
  • Adverse claims record
  • Property in poor state of repair
  • A previously cancelled policy
  • Unoccupied home & more

Applying for cover

When signing up for an insurance policy there is a duty to disclose all material facts. What this means, is you need to provide full and frank details to the questions you’re asked. However when it comes to convictions you only need to tell us about them if they are unspent. Usually criminal convictions are considered spent if the sentence was less than two and a half years and the rehabilitation period has passed. If you’re unsure whether the conviction is spent you can check on the UNLOCK website.
